Round 10 wrap up from Mackay netball Fixtures

A player down in the defensive end saw the defense work overtime to gain turnovers, the shooters made sure their efforts were rewarded. Eventually coming out on top, winning 16-10.

U12 Pearls battled hard with only six players this week against Storm Raindrops.

A player down in the defensive end saw the defense work overtime to gain turnovers, the shooters made sure their efforts were rewarded. Eventually coming out on top, winning 16-10.

MVP was awarded to Brina Kelly. Star player from Round 9 was awarded to Anika Shields, as voted by the team.

U14s Tsunamis took on St Mary’s Spirits in round 10, a slow start in the first quarter saw St Mary’s gain a 13 goal lead. The Tsunamis kicked into gear after the first break getting plenty of hand to ball to create turnovers and minimize the goal difference, winning the second and the third quarter by a goal.

The heat took a toll in the fourth quarter with both teams tiring, but the Tsunamis gave their all to tie the last quarter. In spite of their best efforts Tsunamis went down by 11 at the final whistle, a great display of netball to lessen the margin by all players.

MVP was awarded to Ellsie Hinton and Rhylee Hiscox.
