Whitsundays operators receive much needed boost from local tourism campaign

The recent Whitsundays Mega Sale Campaign generated huge results from the regional drive market, providing operators in the region with a much-needed boost during a traditional need period.

Whitsundays Tourism supported Helloworld Travel Mackay, Mt Pleasant and Townsville with the camnpaign.

More than 100 bookings were received from more than 250 enquiries.

These books generated more than $90,000 in revenue.

Whitsunday Week is an annual feature on the Helloworld marketing calendar and highlights incredible offers and deals from operators throughout the Whitsundays.

These are exclusive to Helloworld Travel Mackay, Mt PLeasant and Townsville customers.

Helloworld Travel Mackay, Mt Pleasant and Townsville general manager Annabel DOlphin was pleased with the successful campaign.

"It was wonderful to partner with Tourism Whitsundays on this campaign, allowing us to support local tourism operators, increase exposure for the region and generate exceptional results," Ms dolphin siad.

Enquires continue to pour in after the two-week sale finished, helping keep The Whitsundays on top of everyone's minds for their next getaway.
