Whitsunday MP shares island residents concerns to party members
Frustrations continue to grow among residents at Keswick Island about the ongoing dispute with China Bloom.
State Member for Whitsunday Amanda Camm met up with some of her fellow party members, where she updated them on latest developments about Keswick island.
She met up with fellow party members Dale Last, Sam O’Connor and Pat Weir and shared her concerns about “current lack of communication and accountability by the Labor state government.”
During discussions, she highlighted community action about the Island by both the Mackay and Whitsunday communities, who wanted to see the island managed in the interest of Queensland.
Ms Camm said she had plans to meet up with residents later in the week.
The first parliamentary sessions was scheduled for the end of February and the Whitsunday MP planned to hold the state government to account.
