Westpac bank down for users
REPORTS have come in that Westpac bank is down for users.
The bank released a statement on their facebook page, acknowledging their customers are experiencing issues with online and mobile banking.
"We're aware there are still some customers experiencing issues with online
and mobile banking at this time, however services are back up and
running for most customers," the statement said.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and are working hard to resolve this for the remaining customers as soon as possible.
"You can still access banking services via our branch and ATM network, and make payments using debit and credit cards. Telephone banking remains available to help over the phone.
"We thank you for your ongoing patience while we work to get this fixed as a priority."
Other banks from the big four have reported not reported any issues.
A Commonwealth Bank spokeswoman confirmed to the Mackay Local News they had no issues.
"Nothing from the Commonwealth Bank is down at the moment," she said.
Spokesman from National Bank of Australia (NAB) said they had no issues.
"There is currently no issues with NAB," he said.
