Planned water supply outage for McCool and Ney Street
A PLANNED water outage will affect residents at McCool and Ney Street today from 9am to 3pm.
Isaac Regional Council said, in a statement, this outage will allow for installation of new isolation valves within the water network and will result in the loss of water supply for the duration of the works.
This will affect 62 properties in the area, shaded red in the image.
Once the water supply has been restored, residents may experience instances of discoloured water.
If discoloured water occurs, council recommends flushing tap water for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear.
Council also recommends that any flushing water be used on your garden or lawn. Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience.
If you require further information, please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
