RIN general manager Dean Kirkwood said as an organisation that represented the resources services sector, theyvalued the effort it took to submit all the nominations and wished everyone the best of luck.

“Given the recent challenges we've all faced since the onset of Covid early last year, it is understandable that the number of nominations in some of our categories were impacted. The judges have deemed those listed as worthy of finalist positions and we congratulate all of them and look forward to announcing the winners at our night of nights on May 21,” he said.

“We are now working hard to put the final touches on the Gala Dinner on May 21 where RIN has secured one of Australia’s leading business analysts and social commentators, Bernard Salt, as the keynote speaker for this wonderful night of celebration. “We invite the resources community to join us for this special evening where we firmly place the region’s resource services sector in the spotlight.

“This year is even more special as RIN is celebrating 20 years of championing the Mackay-Isaac-Whitsunday resources services sector. There will be a special acknowledgement of individuals who played a pivotal role in the organisation during the past two decades and we look forward to adding this to this year’s program,” Mr Kirkwood added.

This year we are fortunate to welcome DRA Global as our major partner, Mackay Regional Council as our silver partner, Gardian as our keynote speaker sponsor.
