Northerlies due in, then mild

L&K Mackay Severe Weather ON THE weather front: Northerlies are due to set in on Friday which means that the weather will return to some warm, mild and decent temperatures are back just for the weekend. Then back to cool mornings Monday next week when the SE’ly change comes through Sunday.


ON THE weather front: Northerlies are due to set in on Friday which means that the weather will return to some warm, mild and decent temperatures are back just for the weekend. Then back to cool mornings Monday next week when the SE’ly change comes through Sunday.

 On a good note (for some), it won’t be as cool as it has been this week. However fine and sunny conditions all weekend. Tops of 25°C today in Mackay, 28°C in the Pioneer Valley. Saturday will have tops of 29°C in Mackay and 31°C in the Pionner Valley with Sunday dropping back down to 26°C in Mackay and the Pioneer Valley as the SE’ly change comes through bring back cool nights.

Out on the water: Northerlies due in on Friday. Bit fresh at first but will become light in the afternoon. Same for Saturday. Sunday morning is when the SE’ly change is due to come through. Full moon Saturday night. Seas below a metre and the swell is below a meter as well until the SE’ly change on Sunday. Massive tidal swings from Saturday sunset to Sunday Sunrise. 0.4m 1711 to 6.1m 2325 to 0.6m 0607 Mackay Harbour Tides.
