Sports, music festival on way

CROWDS of people from all across Queensland are expected to head to Mackay for the region’s newest music, arts, and action sports festival in 2021. In association with Rumble on the Reef, a new and exciting event is being held at WAKEHOUSE AUSTRALIA on Saturday October 2 from 12- 8pm.


FESTIVAL: Quix is heading to Mackay

CROWDS of people from all across Queensland are expected to head to Mackay for the region’s newest music, arts, and action sports festival in 2021.

In association with Rumble on the Reef, a new and exciting event is being held at WAKEHOUSE AUSTRALIA on Saturday October 2 from 12- 8pm.

With headliners – Touch Sensitive, The Kite String Tangle, New Zealand artist QUIX and locals such as CLOVR and DJ Nina Sinclair – Rhythm and The Reef 2021 is set to take Mackay by storm by combining the best of live music, art and extreme sports into a single-day of unmatched excitement.

The festival will feature live and DJ performances, a live graffiti artist, freestyle wakeboarding and more. With extremely limited capacity due to COVID restrictions, and early bird tickets being gone within days of being released, the event is set to sell out.
