Isaac based artists set to benefit from new round of funding
EVERY Year, the Regional Arts Development Fund showcases extraordinary innovation of the arts and cultural sector in regional communities.
They help deliver rich arts experiences and provides important professional opportunities for artists and art workers.
Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the creativity helped connect and energise regional communities, which helped improve health and wellbeing.
"In January 2021, Council approved over $12,000 funding for Round Two applicants," Cr Baker said.
"We hope to see more money delivered in Round Three.
"Congratulations to Dysart Arts, Clermont based videographer Kelly Shann and Moranbah artist Trysett le Garde on your successful applications for RADF funding in Round Two."
The funding is the last round to be released for the 2020 to 2021 year and is available for events, activities and programs that take place around July 1, 2021 and October 31, 2021.
"If you're an individual, cultural group or organisation who has a creative idea to bring to your community, I encourage you to apply," Cr Baker said.
