Fans brave wet weather to see Pioneer Valley Show
MANY residents braved the wet weather and turned up to the Pioneer Valley Show to have a good time.
Marketing and entertainment officer Kristanne Daly said this year’s show was well received.
“If the traffic’s anything to go by, we’ve never seen traffic like that before,” Mrs Daly said.
“It's difficult to confirm the number of show goers we had through the gates this year, but by all accounts with the amount of traffic and feedback from our vendors it was a big show.”
Mrs Daly said one reason for this was that the Show was “the biggest one-day show in Australia”.
“People do look forward to our show,” she said.
While it was raining, she said there was only light rain “but it hasn’t deterred people”.
“The weather’s come really nice and beautiful this afternoon,” she said.
“Still got a bit of light cloud cover.”
She explained many fans missed last year’s show, due to COVID-19 and were keen to see it return.
She said the feedback for this year’s show “was really positive”, where fans enjoyed the animal farm.
“The kids always love to come out and feed the animals,” she said.
“All the entertainers have been fantastic – the kids really loved them.”
