MOTOR Bike lovers were all revved up for the British Motorcycle Owners Association of Mackay annual All Bike Show.

The club's 110 members made a day of it, showing off their pride and joy to an adoring crowd of onlookers and motorcycle lovers.

British Motorcycle Owners Association of Mackay president Bernard Cannon said it was an all-bike show event by name and by nature.

"We are the British club, but we are not just about British bikes," Bernard said.

"There were new bikes, old bikes, classic bikes – and all sorts of bikes.

"The club has run 37 continuous shows - and last year's show was not a cancellation but a postponement.

“This year we are celebrating 120 years of Royal Enfield so we featured some of the Royal Enfield bikes,” he said.

Some high expectations were on for the turnout with the wine and food festival just down the road as well as a large following due to Facebook posts and marketing – and those expectations were not just met, but exceeded!

“We had responses from people as far away as Childers who brought bikes that have never been here before” he said.
